MARR was honored by Wells Fargo with a $1,000 grant at the company’s ‘Days of Giving’ celebration at the 1818 Club in Duluth on November 8, 2012.

The donation to MARR helped push the total giving in Georgia by Wells Fargo through the program past $1 million, since its beginning four years ago. MARR is among contributions to 251 non-profits in Atlanta this year.

“These dollars will allow us to continue to help the community,” said Guerry Dyes, MARR CEO. “With the economy still recovering, the money couldn’t come at a better time.”

Scott Asher, Wells Fargo area president for East Atlanta, said, “It’s great that Days of Giving has surpassed the million-dollar mark — and this is a good way to demonstrate how we are trying to be the best local bank in the Atlanta area.”

Asher added that MARR was selected by frontline employees of the company for the honor.
