Volunteers
Volunteers have always been a vital part of MARR’s drug and alcohol addiction treatment center. Whether they come from other service organizations, the community at large or are MARR alumni wanting to give back, our volunteers all share something in common: a deep commitment and belief in MARR and a desire to help the recovering addict and his or her family.
Volunteers may participate in activities such as opening new residences, refurbishing old ones, contributing to promotional material, developing educational programs and support groups, fundraising events, helping with special events and attending weekly groups with clients within the community. All volunteers at our addiction treatment center participate in a 12-hour training program at our center located in Atlanta, GA, before beginning their services.
If you have a strong interest in being a part of a caring community and participating in volunteer work at MARR, please fill out our Volunteer Contact Form.
Volunteer Training
MARR holds one training per year in April. If you would like to receive information about the next volunteer training as the time draws near, please fill out our form and someone will contact you. Thanks for your willingness to serve those who are struggling with the disease of addiction.
